Grand Egyptian Museum tickets and ticket price in 2026
When checked on 27 September 2026, the official admission page displayed these prices for the “Arabs or Other Nationalities” category: 1,590 EGP for adults and 800 EGP for children or eligible students. Other visitor categories have different prices. The museum lists children under six among groups eligible for free admission; check identification and booking conditions when selecting tickets. These are museum admission prices, not prices for a guided excursion.
The official booking website is tickets.gem.eg. Select your date, entry time and correct visitor category there. The museum warns that it is not responsible for tickets bought through other platforms. If an excursion claims to include Grand Egyptian Museum tickets, check the written inclusions and ask whether the Egyptologist, transfers, lunch, pyramids admission and entry inside a pyramid are covered too.
